Sula Castle is a Scottish dance artist based in London. Graduating with a first-class honours degree from Trinity Laban in 2021, Sula works across live and digital based performance with experiences ranging across black-box theatres, galleries, clubs and fashion shows, to on-camera work including dance film, photoshoots, music videos and advertisements. 

Passionate about being in spaces where people are talking about resistance and change, Sula is a versatile and dynamic mover that feels confident contributing both physically and creatively to the room. Whilst the foundations of their training are within contemporary dance; Cunningham, Release, Graham and Limon, they also have a strong background in classical ballet, and hiphop styles including house and popping and heels. They are also currently training in aerial circus disciplines including harness work and Chinese Pole. 

Sula has performed for choreographers including Fuora Dance Project, Tough Boys Dance Collective, Sunniva MØen Rorvik and Tony Adigun a self-choreographed dance film for Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage, performances in Nina’s Davies Glitch Guisers at The Photographers Gallery, camera testing for 2024 movie The Outrun, and photoshoots for magazines including Veloce and Boom Saloon.
